Privacy Policy
Yomli is a service of Provalytics LLC, doing business as Yomli ("Yomli," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers yomli.ai, app.yomli.ai, and the texts, calls and emails we send as part of the service.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Early access requests: your name, email address and, if you add it, your LinkedIn profile link.
- Your account: name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form), or your Google sign-in details.
- Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts and calls, including the date, time and wording you agreed to.
- About you: your role, company, website, field, posting schedule and time zone.
- Your interviews: your answers on calls with our AI interviewer and your replies to our weekly questions by text. Calls are recorded and transcribed.
- Your posts: the drafts we write for you, your edits, which drafts you approve or skip and why, and topics you tell us never to mention.
- Messages to us: support emails and texts, and voicemails left on our phone line (recorded and transcribed).
- Billing details: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive limited details such as billing status, the card's last four digits and expiry date, and transaction IDs.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps, which we use to run, secure and fix the service.
- Cookies: to keep you signed in to your account, and, on our website, Google Analytics (see Cookies and analytics).
Information from other services
- From LinkedIn and Google, when you connect them (see below).
- Public news articles in your field, which we use to choose what each day's draft is about.
How we use it
- To provide Yomli: learn how you think and write, write a draft each weekday tied to that day's news, send it to you, and publish it to LinkedIn only after you approve it.
- To schedule and hold your interview calls and monthly check-ins.
- To improve your drafts over time, using your edits, approvals, skips and the reasons you give.
- To verify your phone number, secure your account and prevent abuse.
- To handle billing, including your free trial, renewals and receipts.
- To answer your questions and give support.
- To tell you when your early-access spot opens and, if you join, to send account messages.
- To keep Yomli reliable and improve how it works.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
AI and your information
Yomli uses artificial intelligence to write and improve your drafts and to turn your interviews into notes about your views and experience. To do this, we send the relevant information (for example, your interview answers, your past posts and edits, and the day's news) to AI model providers: currently OpenAI and Anthropic. Our AI interviewer's calls are placed and recorded through Close.
These providers process your information on our behalf to provide the service. Under the business terms we use them on, OpenAI and Anthropic do not use the information we send them to train their models. Our AI interviewer always tells you at the start of a call that it is an AI and that the call is recorded.
When you connect LinkedIn, you give Yomli permission to see your basic LinkedIn profile (such as your name, headline, photo and profile ID) and to publish posts for you. If you manage company pages and choose to post to one, LinkedIn also lets us see and post to those pages.
- We publish only posts you have approved, by replying 1 or approving on the edit page.
- We don't read your LinkedIn messages or download your connections.
- You can disconnect Yomli from LinkedIn at any time in your LinkedIn settings. Drafts will then stop going up until you reconnect.
Google sign-in
If you sign up or log in with your Google account, Google shares the following with Yomli, and only with your permission: your name, your email address and your profile photo. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Google Drive or any other Google data.
- How we use it. Only to create your Yomli account, sign you in, and show your name and photo in your account. We may use your email address to contact you about your account.
- How we store it. On our servers in the United States, used only by Yomli.
- How we share it. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Yomli, such as our hosting provider, and only for that purpose, or when the law requires it.
- Limited Use. Yomli's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- Your choices. You can disconnect Yomli from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete your Yomli account and the Google information we hold, email help@yomli.ai. We delete it within 30 days.
Your public expert page
Yomli can publish a public expert page for you, so search engines and AI assistants can find your thinking. When your page is on, it shows your name, a short bio, a link to your LinkedIn profile, and summaries of posts you approved. Anything on the page is public and may be indexed and quoted by search engines and AI assistants.
- Your email address and phone number are never shown. People who want to reach you use a contact form, and we forward their message to you.
- You can turn the page off, or hide any single post from it, at any time in your settings.
Texts and calls
When you give us your mobile number and agree to texts and calls, Yomli will text you a draft each weekday, plus account messages such as verification codes, call reminders and billing notices, and our AI interviewer will call you at times you agree to.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to stop texts, START to turn them back on, and HELP for help. If you stop texts, we'll email your drafts instead.
- Consent to texts and calls isn't a condition of any purchase.
- We do not share or sell your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the providers that deliver our texts and calls for us.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cookies and analytics
Our website (yomli.ai) uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use it: pages
viewed, how you arrived, your general location (city or region), and your device and browser. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as
_ga) to recognise a returning browser.
- In Europe (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), analytics cookies are set only if you click Accept.
- Everywhere else, analytics is on by default. You can turn it off with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- We don't use Google Analytics' advertising features, we don't run ad tracking pixels on the site, and we don't share analytics data with anyone for advertising.
- The app (app.yomli.ai) uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and secure. You can control cookies in your browser, but signing in won't work without them.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run Yomli, with providers who act on our behalf:
- Hosting and security: DigitalOcean and Cloudflare.
- Website analytics: Google (Analytics and Tag Manager).
- Texts and our phone line: Twilio.
- Customer records and AI interviewer calls: Close.
- Email: SendGrid and Google Workspace.
- Support: Help Scout.
- Payments: Stripe.
- AI drafting: OpenAI and Anthropic.
- LinkedIn: to publish the posts you approve.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, with your consent, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
How long we keep it
- While you're a member, we keep your information to provide the service.
- When you cancel, you choose either to keep your expert page live on a smaller plan, or to delete everything. If you delete, at the end of your paid period we delete your account, posts, bio, interview answers, call recordings and customer record.
- We keep some records after that because the law or our providers require it: proof of your consent to texts and calls, billing records, and support conversations.
- Early-access requests are kept until you join or ask us to remove them.
- Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Update your details, schedule, topics to avoid and expert page settings in your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing help@yomli.ai. We respond within 30 days.
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights over your personal information. We honor these requests for all our users and won't treat you differently for making one.
Children
Yomli is for adults using it for their work. You must be at least 18 to use it, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Where we process information
Yomli is based in the United States, and we and our providers process information in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email or text before they take effect.
